Optimal lubrication in practice!

The real-life conditions are different from the conditions in the sterile test or manufacturing laboratory. First of all, you must determine if the lubrication is an initial or running-in lubrication (where sterile laboratory conditions still prevail) or a relubrication (where contamination by the environment is unavoidable). Particular application purposes under differing conditions call for a differentiated product structure.

Experience has shown that, as a rule, chains are usually only  relubricated when the degree of dirt and the loss of the "initial" lubricant become noticeable (e.g. by noise production) or in case of partial failure of the chain or when maintenance is carried out in accordance with an industrial maintenance schedule. In principle, however, the basic rule of relubrication is (and the experts agree on this): optimal lubrication requires requires proper cleaning!

More experiences from the field: Even if users or people in charge thoroughly the parts before lubrication (i.e. more than just wiping off the superficial dirt), as a rule, it is not possible to remove the dirt barrier in the critical chain inner bearing (the inner spaces between chain pins, bushing and rollers). If these parts are relubicated with a (highly) viscous, adhesive surface lubricant, the traces of use are initially eliminated, but the critical "dirt barrier" in the chain inner bearing is not removed.

The result? The applied lubricant does not reach the parts it should - i.e. chain inner bearings (the inner spaces between chain pins, bushings and rollers). Thus, the surface contamination is only liquefied and combines to form an "emery paste" - which in turn leads to even faster wear and higher abrasion. This problem applies to all chain - form bicycle chains to industrial drive chains - even though he dimensions of the latter are larger

CONCLUSION: Only if the inner bearings are properly lubricated - and not only the symptoms of wear or the traces of use are eliminated - can LUBRICATION be considered truly OPTIMAL!

The solution? Mission: Possible: innotech makes it possible: We provide our customers with innovative relubricants with a very special technology. Innovations consisting of a composition of cleaning, lubricating and anti-corrosion components that work together perfectly. Innovations designed to ensure bot continuous and permanent cleaning from dirt. Innovations overcoming the dirt barrier in the chain inner bearing and at the same time forming a load-carrying lubricating capacity of a high-viscosity oil. For this reason, we rely on a state-of-the-art additive technology. An innovation where the innofluid additive is added to the low-viscosity oil, which, as soon as it has formed a bond (adhesion) with the cleaned surface under defined pressure and temperature conditions, results in a (localised) thermoplastic flow deformation, which leads to "smoothing", hardening and tempering of the surfaces ...almost wear-free and long lasting! In addition, our high-quality lubricants produce a layer which is dry to the touch and firmly adheres to the surface. It reliably lubricates and at the same time "softens" and thus reduces friction. Whereas contaminants like dust, dirt and lint often form deposits when conventional lubricants and greases are used, the surface remains significantly cleaner with innotech-lubricated components and reliably protects against corrosion at the same time ... for a long and happy service-life of the chains or cables!
