The criteria for initial lubrication
• Initial lubrication is carried out by the manufacturer. The main focus here is on corrosion protection, as the chain may be stored for a long time before it is installed.

The consequences
• Such lubricants form a sticky lubricating film that also binds dirt and dust.
• They oxidise or resinify and the surface becomes sticky.

The problem
• Fresh lubricant is applied to the dirty surfaces.
• During re-lubrication the lubricant is not able to penetrate the chain’s inner bearings.

Die Lösung
Da ein Betrieb gänzlich ohne Schmierung keine Lösung darstellte, baten wir den technischen Fachberater von Innotech um Rat. Seiner Empfehlung, die Parallelführungen mit „Innotech Synthetischer Innenlagerschmierung SIS 105“ zu schmieren, kamen wir nach intensiver Beratung nach. Im Ergebnis konnten die Positionierungsfehler der Messer nahezu auf Null reduziert werden.
Keiner der aktuellen Fehler ist auf Verkleben der Führungsschienen zurückführbar.
